Design of CraftWork Begins!

This week we contracted with TLCD Architects of Santa Rosa to begin design studies for CraftWork’s proposed new home!  Site measurements were taken and the feedback gathered from the over 70 responses gathered from our online survey are being used to create that one of a kind space that can only be found in Healdsburg.

After meeting with several different design firms, TLCD was the logical choice.  Upon walking into their office it was clear that they ‘got it’.  The natural light, open, collaborative environment, raw concrete and steel vibe was exactly what we envision for CraftWork.  They joined us on a tour of inspired spaces in Healdsburg that helping to inform the look, feel and functionality of CraftWork.  Think Flying Goat meets Banshee.  Other great spaces we hope to capture in spirit include Hotel Healdsburg lobby and the Gallery Bistro. 

Concepts will be developed over the next few weeks and we hope to be able to share them online. If you would like to participate in a focus group to review the concepts and provide feedback, please email us.
